Are you new to Arcadia High School? Every year is a little different, but we've tried to compile a list of the most common questions that parents have when they are new to AHS.

Is there a supply list? What does my student need for the first day of school?
No, there is not a supply list for AHS as of Fall 2017. Teachers each create their own supply list, depending on their class. Some teachers want their own binder, some don't. Be prepared to shop the first week of school! Most teachers give 1 week for students to acquire their supplies.
To be prepared we recommend this generic list for the first day of school.
- 3 Ring Binder
something that can hold paper for notes + handouts they will receive
- Tabbed Dividers in binder
you might need multiple sets if your teacher requires a separate binder
- 3 Ring College Ruled Paper
- 3 Ring Graph Paper
- Pencils (+ sharpener if wood)
- Blue, Black, Red Pens
some teachers might get specific with the colors you need
- USB Flash Drive
Where do I eat lunch?
There are not any "official" places, but the students have created their own grade level spaces over the years.
Freshmen - Under & Around Mount Olympus
Sophomores, Juniors & Seniors - Cafeteria.
Where do I buy lunch?
There are 3 places to buy lunch - cafeteria, kiosk, cart
Cafeteria & kiosk for hot & cold food options + drinks. (student ID & cash accepted).
Cart has salads, cold drinks, and more (cash only).
How to I add money to my child's ID?
If you need to create an account or add money so your child can purchase lunch with his/her ID go to https://www.myschoolbucks.com.
I need to take the bus, where is it?

Arcadia High School Parent & Student Open House
August 3, 2017 from 5:30 – 7:00 pm
Arcadia invites all students and parents onto campus to walk the campus, locate their classrooms, and meet the teachers. This event will be preceded by a welcome event for freshman and their parents at 5:00 PM.
First Day of School
All Grades Start @ 7:45 am
There will be no "Freshman Only" 1/2 day on the first day of school.
All Freshmen & Upperclassmen should arrive Aug. 7th at 7:45 am.
Theses changes are being implemented at all SUSD school across the district.
July 31 - Seniors A-M 9am-11am, N-Z 11am-1pm
August 1 - Juniors A-M 9am-11am, N-Z 11am-1pm
August 2 - Sophomores A-M 9am-11am, N-Z 11am-1pm
August 3 – Freshmen A-M 9am-11am, N-Z 11am-1pm
August 7 - First day of school
Please visit arcadia.susd.org to obtain information about athletics, attendance, bus schedule, bell schedules and all other school information.
NEW THIS YEAR
You must print and complete registration forms before you can begin the registration process at the school. The packet will be available on our website beginning July 3 at www.arcadiapto.org/registrationforms
On your assigned registration day, please begin in the cafeteria. Please note all students are required to have the colored copy of their schedule for the first day of school and you will not receive this without completing the registration packet.
