![]() HELP FOR HARVEY DRIVE A SUCCESS! The Key Club of Arcadia is proud to announce they have raised over $920 with a school wide money drive to support the victims of Hurricane Harvey. Titled Help for Harvey, the money collected from the two week drive was donated to the Kiwanis Texas Children’s Fund for Hurricane Relief. Huge thanks to the students and teachers who supported the drive, to the work of Key Club’s Co Vice President Abe Speck who chaired the program, Treasurer Andrew Constantinou, and to Jacob Staudenmaier for donating his time to make an ad to promote the fundraiser on A.N.N. Key Club of Arcadia was just reactivated at Arcadia this year. The club’s mission is service oriented within the school, local community and beyond. In addition to the Help for Harvey Drive, Key Club has implemented a mentoring program for the students in the after school classes at Ingleside called Titan Time. Several times a month, Key Club members visit Ingleside on Monday afternoons to spend time with the students playing chess, gardening, dance, etc. To date the club has over 50 members. The club will also be working with St. Mary’s Food in November.
