Our Mission:
- to facilitate and increase communication between school and community
- to promote an increased sense of community among Arcadia High School families
- to supplement funding for curricular and extracurricular activites and programs
- to support teachers and administration
Our Strategies:
- continue to use Newsblasts to provide timely information electronically
- attend SUSD Board meetings, Scottsdale Parent Council meetings, etc. and report back to the community at large via email and monthly PTO meetings
- plan events involving AHS students, parents and community members - keeping them affordable and focusing on fun
- tailor PTO meetings to meet the needs and interests of AHS families
- raise funds for PTO programs and activities by soliciting monetary donations from Arcadia families and conducting fundraisers
- continue to maintain a database of volunteers willing to lend support as needed to teachers and staff
Our Needs:
- financial support of all AHS families - whether it be $25 or $1000, it all adds up!!
- your involvement - in planning, organizing, attending, volunteering...you are needed!
